- I have been hunting cupcake shops for a while, including Cupcake Wars winners and competitors. This shop is hands down, The best specialty cupcake shop I have ever been to. I finally got to meet Sharon, the magical baker and Joey is always welcoming. There is no other cupcake place in all of Tampa bay! - Frostings, Etc… has the BEST cupcakes in the Tampa Bay Area. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and I’ve probably consumed enough of their cupcakes to know exactly what ingredients are used. The frosting on each of their cupcakes are so delicious that you’d more than likely regret eating a cupcake for the rest of your life, yet still leave with at least a dozen (guilty on both counts). It is never grainy, overly sweet or too rich… it’s ALWAYS just PERFECT. So perfect even my relatives half way across the world on Guam crave it.
